Participants in the Kenilworth Historical Society’s ‘Soup’s On’ on Thurs., March 21, 2019, will have an opportunity to taste a variety of favorite soups from local restaurants and others. Assorted breads and desserts also will be served during the event, which is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Community Methodist Church hall, 455 Boulevard, Kenilworth, N.J.
Admission is $12. Advance reservations are required, as seating is limited. Parking and entrance to the church hall are located at the rear of the building. Proceeds from “Soup’s On” will benefit the Kenilworth Historical Society’s Oswald J. Nitschke House (c. 1880) “living history” museum and cultural arts center by helping defray the cost of an elevator that makes all levels of the newly restored site fully accessible to everyone.
