The Kenilworth Historical Society Inc. is an independent, volunteer-based, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3) organization (Tax ID No. 22-2502977; Charitable Registration No. CH1904400-01).
Funding for the Oswald J. Nitschke House and all programs that the Kenilworth Historical Society provides to schools and the general public depends entirely on donations, fundraisers and competitive grants that the organization applies for and is awarded based on merit. All members are unpaid volunteers.
Donations to the Kenilworth Historical Society are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Such monetary support is especially needed and appreciated during these difficult, uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic when, due to government-imposed headcount restrictions, the Kenilworth Historical Society is unable to hold its usual fundraising events, which are critical to the survival of the Oswald J. Nitschke House “living history” museum and cultural arts center.
Contributions may be sent to the Kenilworth Historical Society, 567 Boulevard, Kenilworth, New Jersey 07033. Checks should be made payable to the Kenilworth Historical Society.
Thank you for your support, which will be appreciated for many generations to come!
Nitschke House Elevator Campaign
The Kenilworth Historical Society (KHS) is working to repay a large amount of debt that it was compelled to incur in order to complete the Nitschke House elevator construction project within the time frame required of certain matching grants that had been awarded for the project. The elevator makes all three levels of the site accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and abilities, including those with physical challenges/disabilities. Contributions to the Nitschke House Elevator Campaign are of tremendous assistance in helping KHS keep the museum and cultural arts center running for the benefit of all people.
